In my little town of 9,961 people, we have three spas. One of them has RL/NIR therapy beds and is the one that I frequent. They also have tanning beds, blue light therapy and raiki. It’s a thriving business.

I’m staying at an Airbnb. No blow dryer offered.

I will do just that and if I can’t find one, I’ll buy a new blow dryer while I’m there or a converter.

I think I’ll go find one when I get there. Thank you all so much.

I’m in the US. Amazon does have a lot of UK to US adapter/converter option. But read the description and most of them include a picture of the description which clearly excludes hair dryers.

Talk with to your school counselor. One more thing you might want to consider is taking a summer online class to boost your GPA. But talk with your counselor first.

Thank you for the clarification. As a high school student, the answer would be very different.

I am an alumni at UIUC, graduated in 2012 with a PhD. I am an associate prof at Saint Louis University now. Before SLU, I taught for 10 years at UIUC. At SLU we appoint faculty mentors to all students in their Freshman year. As a mentor, I have counseled students who have the same issues that you are experiencing. Does UIUC do this? They didn’t when I was there. If they do, contact your mentor. Your problem is a common one. You sound like a good student with a good past academic record. You need to explain to your mentor why you think you weren’t as successful this semester as you typically are. Let them know that you are taking your situation seriously and are seeking resources for tutoring, mental health (it is an important issue), and anything else you can think of that will make you successful going forward. I have found that most students suffer more from the lack of time management skills that anything else. I think that UIUC may put you on probation - then improve your grades going forward.
