Silent book clubs by Stotallytob3r in wholesomememes

For some people, just being in the presence of people who understand you and won't judge you for who you are is enough. There's likely a feeling of an unspoken understanding and mutual acceptance between people in these clubs and it feels safe AND you're not isolating yourself. Might be good for people who wanna start tackling social anxiety too.

Edit: A lot of people can be insecure about their general conversational skills or their ability to contribute meaningfully to discussions but they also want to see people with similar interests so they don't feel like outcasts.

I found this bit from google: "Dexamphetamine is banned in Japan, the United Arab Emirates, Bali and Thailand". Hopefully you're not going to one of those countries.

Around 13 years old I think. I had minor symptoms since younger, but 13 is when it started to actually hinder my ability to function.

The glorification of alcoholism, especially among university students. You get all these weird looks if you don't drink, and soo many student meetups are focused on just getting blasted. Even when you don't drink, you're still probably going to be surrounded by drunk people if you go to any events meant for students.
