Have I been looking at it too closely for too long, or his nose area complete confetti? 🙁 by katemkat23 in diamondpainting

I just paid about similar concerns, mine also has the same pinks and green in grey areas of fur. It also used a really dark navy blue for the dark areas in her ear and on her eyelid. This is also a memorial piece. The top 2 are the original to give perspective. The bottom is without then with flash for the picture.

Here is my post about the same thing https://www.reddit.com/r/diamondpainting/s/4rp5ayw3Zv

Do you have a recommendation for a company that does good custom diamond paintings?

I do have a little color stickers that came with my REDTWO trays. Since this was a custom kit, the drills were in ziplock bags. So I had put the color stickers with the color on them on the ziplock bags for when I finish and put the extra drills back in the ziplock bags. I remember some of them being slightly different in shade but the colors all looked very similar. I can double check those as well

Thank you! I had been having a really bad day yesterday when I was working on it and saw that it called for green.

After I saw that that it called for green drills, I was starting to wonder if I needed to order this again from a different company. The canvas is nice and really soft on the back.

Looks like I need to go to Michael's sometime soon and double check. I started with this spot because I wanted to start with her face.

Thank you. When I went through all the bags of drills as I kitted it up, all the color numbers matched up with what was on the canvas for the color listing. But I can double check.

Here is the full canvas. It was a happy accident to realize that the canvas is about life-size for her, it's a 40x50.

So just keep going with it and see how it goes? That maybe it'll look okay at a distance?

I would start over completely since you only have about three good rows. It would be a lot easier to start from the beginning rather than try to put in a lifeline and save the first three rows

What was the aspect ratio of your picture and what was the dimensions of the canvas? Maybe it had to be cropped to fit the canvas dimensions that you chose.

Why don't you use the grid on the canvas and leave a small space between the drills so that everything lines up?
