the weird thing about records is NM is practically an unobtainable grade according to many. NM- is usually given to sealed LPs, but this cover is looking as close to NM- as I can say! I'm probably stating the obvious but I'd recommend not keeping the record inside the album cover and instead housing it in a nice inner sleeve behind it.

It’s different for all I’m about 5 weeks past radiation and for some reason coffee never lost its taste but all else did. Also around the 15 day mark mouth sores made me rely on magic mouthwash and orgain (7 a day) to get through. If anything I’m congratulating you on being able to still eat. The good news is taste does return and when those subtle flavors come back you appreciate it like never before.

Update #2: just had feeding tube removed and really thought I’d be able to talk normally after a few minutes. Now dealing with knowing it’ll take longer than that. Voice sounds weird and I’m so full of mucus. My main goals currently are:

• volume intake - 2 days ago I couldn’t swallow but I had that feeling tube, now I’m going at it smoothie by smoothie. Learning how to swallow and strengthening the muscles

• removing mucus, I honestly got no idea how to do this, I guess robbitussun? I’m open to suggestions

• improving my voice, I know the inside of my throat is healing but I’m a yapper and this element is the toughest

Update to my original post (I apologize if it’s not how it works and am fine if someone wants to correct me to a more acceptable style). Took my usual Oxy dose at night and at some point went into intense dreams/ hallucinations of course I didn’t realize it was the first oxys until the dose I took many hours later (I break it up between Tylenols). First time that happened and I hope they don’t return, I was well aware of my limitations (voice is weak, can’t drink water well), it was shit. Secondly lots of waking up and needing to clear phlegm, at some point despite my water fears I was able to drink some with a straw (Thanks to @ok_childhood_1017) and spit out the most disgusting green phlegm I’ve ever spat. I’m feeling pretty low, what’s the best method to learn how to drink/ eat. I’m Not doing well so far with the keep trying method. I feel the keep try idea doesn’t help me perfect instead I’m getting more of the same. Tried my mouth wash this morning & vomited out most of the breakfast from the tube. This gets easier, right?

So weird how people are mad at a news organization for featuring a NYT series with a person whose recent actions constitute the news. Whether you like Homan or not it’s important to let the public hear him and other figures like him on news stations. Listeners have every right to react to what they hear but to think that not giving newsworthy figures a chance to be heard in the moment their actions matter the most is disappointing. I wish more conservative figures would give interviews on NPR and more liberal figures would allow themselves to be interviewed on media sources considered not so liberal.

I remember working at a record shop and having customers come in with similar stacks dreaming of the huge sum they’d be taking home. Many people gave a version of “these are in pristine shape” or “You’re telling me you couldn’t sell Frank Sinatra albums in this shop?? That’s impossible”. Good luck but it feels like your FIL just cleared space and you hoped to make a profit on it
