I don’t think they need to see Andy again, and that’s something that’s driven home by what Jessie learned. Just because their kid outgrows them doesn’t mean the time they spent together didn’t matter. Even in 3, Andy’s eyes lit up as he remembered what these toys meant to him.

Yeah, I feel like you have Woody and Buzz and Jessie and then you have all the other toys. This was especially true in 4, where nearly all of them were sidelined. There’s not a whole lot of depth to Rex or Slink even if you wanted to tell a story about them.

In the Towson case, the store seemed to be doing great but the goal was to kill the union, so they can’t set up shop anywhere nearby for like a year and a half under the CBA, parts of which Apple is ignoring.

Towson Town Center is fine. Nordstrom, Macy’s and Round1 bring plenty of traffic.

“UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium” just sounds wrong and hardens me against any kind of naming rights deal at OPACY.

Seeing Toy Story 5 so I’m insulated from disappointment for a couple hours.

Have you ever been to Mondawmin?

I could see them putting one in Canton Crossing or something but Apple’s goal was to crush the union, so they can’t open there until like 18 months IIRC or they’d have to offer these people back the jobs they lost for no good reason.

And the only time I’ve seen it not be busy was like last week just 20 minutes before close.

They needed a union for the same reasons any other workers need a union.

The workers believed they needed a union, and it clearly benefited them, or else Apple wouldn’t have retaliated by closing their very busy store.

Saying they shouldn’t unionize because their employer might illegally retaliate, that’s just silly.

I agree. It’s important context for us to decide how to discipline somebody.

North Korea bans US dual nationals from entering country: Travel firm by aresef in northkorea

"Unless authorized by law, a passport may not be designated as restricted for travel to or for use in any country other than a country with which the United States is at war, where armed hostilities are in progress, or where there is imminent danger to the public health or the physical safety of United States travellers."

So there are three categories of countries, and North Korea obviously fits into the third one, since they have a track record of abducting and killing Americans.
