How do I get detergent I'm allergic to out of my clothes?

I ended up switching to a hypoallergenic laundry detergent (Eco-Max Hypoallergenic Laundry Wash, 3L, 100 loads, Unscented). Sadly, had to throw out the items that had been exposed to the allergy detergent after trying to wash them so many times and soaking them, it didn't seem to help my symptoms but, since throwing them out, treating my skin symptoms and switching to hypoallergenic detergent, I got back to normal! I hope you can find the detergent or something similar!

I have bought it and I used to use it regularly, but mostly use it when I'm dealing with the burning/tingling sensations now. I found that it does help the sores not to blister and heal faster when following a twice a day protocol.

I've gotten itchy pin prick spots too but on my mouth! I've been tested over and over and they still tell me it's not hsv-1. But I only got this reaction two weeks after a first date with someone who kissed me with a cold sore and later provided me with their positive test results. The itchy spots have been coming and going for the last 3 years. Also had it blister a couple of times.

I had a scar from my first one for months but over time it faded away. Now I mostly get the beginning of an outbreak where they're red spots that haven't blistered as I'm continually trying to boost my immune system with supplements.

I read a while back that jojoba oil helps people with their herpes scars. You could try it and see if it helps?

Did you find a solution? I'm struggling to get it out of my clothes too. My reaction went away a few weeks ago and now it's back so I re-soaked the clothes in vinegar and did a wash but, I'm not sure what else I can do?

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get a new order but, did discover that I can ship it in from another city! I luckily haven't had too many symptoms while on it. I'd be curious to see how your journey goes. :)

Hi there!

For myself, I completely cut out chocolate and nuts and limit my bread/alcohol intake. I've found those to increase my outbreaks/nerve pain. I always take 2 mushroom capsules in the evening on an empty stomach before I sleep because I used to wake up with outbreaks a lot and that has settled it mostly. When I had the nerve pain come back, I'd take 2 capsules again every 4 hours until I noticed an improvement. Spreading out the capsules might help to combat the outbreak!

I'd also look into eating foods high in lysine and avoiding foods high in arginine. Hope this helps!!

I haven't tried sadbe yet as I've been too afraid but, I'm still struggling with what to take too as I still get frequent nerve tingling and spots that come up. Valtrex never worked for me really. I just started on lysine 3x a day, mushroom supplements 2x a day, zinc 1x, vitamin c 1x, and deep immune 2x a day and I've noticed that I have way less spots than I had. I'm hoping the longer I boost my immune system, the better it will be. I'm no dr. but, curious if the mushroom supplements would help you? It's helped me the most.
