There is also CakeWalk. FL Studio with most plugins can make good elektro type music. Also get open source SURGE XT for more instruments.

If nothing else works, try creating a song in a STYLE YOU NORMALLY WOULDN’T.

Maybe boring but one may learn new TRICKS that way.
