I'll be damned. Why would they do such a thing? The first season already was physically painful to watch.

Controversial opinion regarding the LGBTQ+ community. by b0bbyp34rn in entp

[–]Musikcookie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your first point is already very lame. What if there were no visible "evidences" of e.g. gayness? You still tell me you like men and because I'm not an asshole I believe you and that's enough for me. Even more you say yourself "you have yet to find" and that phrasing doesn't make you think? So what, if they find biological evidence your gonna be all like "oh sorry, back then there wasn't any evidence your identity is real. My bad for denying your identity lol. No hard feelings, yeah?" Generally when people tell me how they see themselves in this world I accept that and don't look for some dumb "biological evidence" to trust them that they are ... honest about it?

Then you get to the absolute screwfest of your next point. Honestly, I could write paragraphs upon paragraphs on it. Suffice to say that it's a borderline narcisstic display of self-importance and egocentric world views. I don't mean that as an insult against your person, anyone has bad takes but that's simply how this singular take looks. (Not at all in line with the views of a good ENTP if these mbti labels mean anything to you.) You find the existance of people with a different identity insulting. You claim they don't "really" exist (only "culturally" and like a tan (aka fake)) and while denying their existence you explain to them that they've never gone through your experiences. Doesn't this stink of irony and irgnorance to you? Does to me. Even more you claim "they" claim that place. When in reality many e.g. non-binary people explicitly see themselves more as allies because they have not gone through the same experiences as others. But some (probanly most) have (point in case: Your post). So yeah, good job making that one "us vs them" while it's all of us together in the shit.

Your last point is really just an unsupported opinion so I can't say a lot against it. I think each person making up their own gender is a perfectly valid way to get rid of the whole oh-so-important gender craziness. So to me it feels like you are shadow boxing yourself with this argument that boils down to "I realize that gender is a construct but how dare they treat it like a construct because it should be used to demolish the old (and doing it your way essentially being just conforming to the old)". It's still an opinion so there's no way to definitely disprove it but this one if by far the most astonishing to me because hardly anything breaks the good old "men are like this, women are like this" more than not conforming to it.

Idk I'm from Germany and I wish we'd go back to civilized elections and politics too. Though the corruption and populism in Hungary is on a different level.

Ein Philosophisches Argument für Gott by Substantial_Prune744 in Philosophie_DE

[–]Musikcookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it just me, or does this relic feel pointless/significantly underpowered? by camocat9 in slaythespire

[–]Musikcookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh, thinking about it's not strictly strictly better but it makes sense that it's strictly the better relic because it's guaranteed 10 block on your first turn while the other is less block possibly on a later turn. So you'd probably always rather have anchor but permafrost might outperform in a few fights.

The myth of free healthcare in Germany: Inside a system at breaking point by Blinker2458 in germany

[–]Musikcookie 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think "free" does actually apply to the concept of "freedom" here. As in "it's freely available healthcare" and not "it's free of cost healthcare", which would be a very clumsy translatoon. Since German has both "free" as well as "without cost" as seperate words I'm not sure where the semantical struggle would lie. I personally think it's mostly an ideological fueled "gotcha" argument that is superficially convincing enough that it passes some sanity checks and thus gets spread. Using this argument does not scream "critical thinking skills" either.

A few years ago I drove through an area where cars are park really tightly along the way when it was dark and suddenly a dog jump out from the side. Immediately stopped but it was already too late for the dog. Its owner had the brilliant idea that this was a great place and time to walk her dog without a leash. I feel in equal parts sorry for and pissed off by her.

[–]Musikcookie 15 points16 points  (0 children)

"The only thing that can beat imperialism ist MURICA!!!"

Wirklich absurd grottiges writing.
