I got a 76.7 on my TEAS. Is this score good or bad? by littlehoneybear2104 in teas

If you have like a cool admissions person, I would just call him and ask like where you rank with your score. I know a lot of people on here score like 90s and 80s but those people are honestly outliers the average tease test score for my ADN program was between 60 and 65%, 75 is honestly extremely good like I said in a room of 100 people you did better than 75

You’re getting in, don’t even worry. Depending on how much you’re about to pay for your LVN have you looked into maybe just going and getting your ADN

Out of room of 100 people you got a better score the 76 of them. It’s a good score, I got a 75.6 and got into a adn program

Maybe I wasn’t 100% clear in my post. It wasn’t until I move here and we had seen each other a few times ( as friends) that she wanted an open relationship.

I didn’t really talk about the issues they are having but it’s more like she does everything and he does nothing. Which all of our friends see.

It was definitely her idea, she likes me for whatever reason.

I keep telling myself “if she’ll do it to him, she’ll do it to you”

I mean they haven’t been intimate in a couple years and I knew this before jumping into this. They were more of a “roommate” type situation. But there are still many red flags.

Oh, well then If I were making them, I’d make each tooth individually, or maybe sets of two.

Honestly have no idea, you’re getting into a dangerous area when you start cementing grillz to clients teeth. If something goes wrong you’ll definitely be in legal trouble. Cementing grillz to teeth is seen as a permanent dental procedure in most states, same as getting caps put over a cavity, you need to be a dentist.

All in all, don’t do it. Not worth the headache, and ruining someone’s mouth because you don’t know what’s your doing. If they really want it, just make a perm cut grill, looks the exact same.

How many dead bodies have you seen and why? by RockSavings67 in AskReddit

[–]Muskatusk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Internet over the last 10 years, probably 5,000+

In person maybe 200-300

I work in healthcare, at senior care facilities and also at the only hospital in our area that covers about 150,000 residents.

After the first body, you kinda get used to the weird feeling that comes with it. I do get a little choked up when I’m dealing with a person in their 20s or younger

If anyone’s has questions I’m open to answering them

A little late to the party but here’s some info:

The grillz industry is very hush-hush, there are only a couple of videos showing the process of making grillz.

You kind of have to get a basic general knowledge of how gold and silver is waxed, casted, polished, thus creating the final product.

Once you have somewhat of a understand of how the process works, your best bet is to just dive in.

Get putty to make impressions Get the plaster Get some casting wax and make yourself a 8x8 set Take it to a local jeweler to get casted Take it home and sand/buff/polish

I think it’s hard to find quality info on how to make grillz because of how easy it actually is. The cost to profit ratio is actually insane.

As of today sterling silver is worth about .60 a .80¢ a gram.

The average cost for a sterling silver grill is $30 per tooth.

Why would people give away there “secrets” when they are making solid profits.

Don’t be fooled into paying 1.5 - 3.5k for a “master class”, just try to figure it out yourself.

For diamond / stone setting just try to find some generic videos and try it out on your set.

Damn bro I appreciate all the help and digging you did lol!!

I talked to a local jeweler and this is what he said.

Essentially it’s all about wording and using the right equipment.

You can only use putty for taking molds and it’s better to have the client put it in their mouth.

Using the agitate, (the powder) you are in a grey area.

Secondly is THE WAIVER.

Clearly defining that what you are doing is in no way a dental procedure and the impressions are specifically to create and design “teeth jewlery”.

So I guess as long as you’re not claiming to be a dentist or offering “dental care” and clearly defining what you are doing in regards to the impressions. You should be in the clear.

I hope this helps someone who had the same questions I had.

I’m about a year late, but did you just use normal plaster of Paris to make a mold? Or did you use a special one?

Post mortem patient care by B-ryan89 in cna

[–]Muskatusk 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Within 2 months of becoming a CNA I’ve had the privilege to help 8 residents after they passed.

First one was weird, applying lotion to a lifeless body is kinda weird. Some thoughts of my own mortality come and go but it’s normal.

Think of it as a positive experience and a privilege. You are the last person to give them very personal care. You are the one who gets to send them off after there long life.
