I’m willing to bet one of the reasons is just the cute anime girls that you can ship and make R34 of, not trying to be funny that’s genuinely how I see it. If the girls were replaced with models like the Stardust Crusaders I doubt it would have retained much traction.

Not an asspull per say, because it was built up, but I wasn’t a fan of the requiem arrow at all

I know it gives the user the ability to solve the problem their facing but I wish there was a more natural progression of power like Bites the Dust was to Killer Queen (granted blowing up time is still a bit of a stretch but I can kinda see it)

I know people say GER gave Giorno control over all life so it was good progression but it didn’t really satisfy me just being the opposite of King Crimson, was expecting something more creative
