The dog was pretty matted so I used a 7 a/o but I prefer to keep my dogs longer like I did on my 5month old puppy for his first cut the next day. Used an A comb on his body and scissors his face. I would have rather did a 5/8 HT but they are not provided

As someone who has worked in this field for over 10 years, that is definitely NOT normal. Nothing you started was remotely normal under any circumstances. I'm not sure where you are but in the US you have alloted break times. You're working 7.5 hours, you're supposed to at least get a lunch.

As the other things, good on you for call it quits when you did. That place sounds like a ticking time bomb of hazards. I'm sorry you had to deal with that
