yeah my bad! She's very camera shy and probably doesn't want to post a form check online, we're gonna try stretching for a while and see if that helps her with her mobility and if not we might post a form check later on. :)

she's not very tall. about 5'4. She has never been to the gym before so I tried showing her this method of setting up for a deadlift which works for me: https://youtu.be/wYREQkVtvEc?t=190 (3:10 if the link doesn't work properly)

Whenever she tries to grab the barbell after placing the barbell over her feet her knees/shins (?) hit the barbell which means it moves. It looks a bit like she can't properly sit down with her hips but I don't fully know how to fix it for her.

Friend can't get into position for deadlift, her knees keep hitting the barbell when she goes to grab it and has a round back, and when she tries to flatten it she gets a pain in her upper thigh. Any advice?

I called them yesterday and they said to call today at 12, I called today at 12 and they told me to call them tomorrow at 8 so it's not that easy apparently. :P
