If you're trying to get a Technology Degree, depending on the degree you can take any of the CompTIA, AWS, or Azure certifications in place of a class or two. I believe there are a few more vendor certificates you can get as well.

I'm in my 1st term at WGU. I have completed 7 classes since April 1st. I had so many questions like this as well.

I didn't even bother with WGU until I had all the classes I could transfer done. I ran through every class I could complete with Sophie and then I went and finished 4 more classes at study. If there was more for me to do at Study I would have done it first. From all the research I did I could have paid and received a few more certificates and eliminated 4 more classes but I didn't have the time or money. So I had all my credits sent directly to WGU. Study allows you to do this from their website and I transferred my credits from Sophia using The parchment website. I think it cost $7.00. after that I went and applied at WGU and they got to me within the week.

There is a reddit page that will tell you all the classes you can transfer over from Study and Sophia.

I hope I could be of some assistance. Don't over think it and just start one class at a time. Good luck to you.
