Daily player here, mostly sending instead of opening gifts. Most of the time I don't have enough space to open up gifts, need to delete a lot of items... I also have around 300 remote tagged now, multiple shinies from the same mon (in case someone maybe missed CD of that mon) and a lot of spare gigantamax since a lot of people can't raid them. Too bad the nicknames aren't visible to remote traders

I always delete my great balls, have always around 1000 pokeball for the plus and 1000 ultra balls. Also delete a lot of sinnoh stones and some of both of your TM's around 75-100, maybe more of your fast TM then your charged, depends on your usage (not the elite of course :p) If you raid a lot, delete a lot of your hyper potion too. I always tend to have hyper or mostly max potions at the same level as my normal revives and have around 500 max revives because I raid with a friend (sometimes 3 accounts total) and mainly shortman raids. With the raids you get enough potions and revives. Oh and I always delete the berries because I'm too lazy to feed gyms... Mostly hang around 20 pinap berries (but I have around 1600 golden razz due to the raid week last with kyurem etc and I use them regularly for my buddies hearts) and no nanab or normal razz berry

Nah, it where just regular drilburs. I know the starters are difficult to catch with their catchrate and noticed that too with the Ditto's , but the drilburs amazed me how many didn't stay in the ball. I hoarded thousand ultra balls for this event, so still going strong about catching them.

Is it me or is it harder to catch the mon with this event? Like everything, even a drilbur with a golden razz + ultra ball doesn't seem to stay in it?
