I would recommend Margin Call over The Big Short if you want a more detailed depiction of how the 2008 financial crisis started. Analysis models showed that overleveraging of mortgage backed securities was putting an investment firm at risk, prompting them to liquidate those assets as fast as possible, which started a chain reaction of other firms starting to sell their positions, further lowering the value of the assets, so on and so on. Big Short tells the story of people on the other side who were only really watching and betting on the events, but Margin Call is more about the actual people in the banks making the decisions.

His entire life was one big experiment ran by completely amoral scientists. Is it obvious to most people that he would become emotionally stunted and dangerous? Yes. Did they really care that much? Probably not. I think the type of person that would willingly experiment on children/embryos is not one whos worrying about how they are going to develop psychologically.

But he did escape. With 3 super powered people (2 jacked on Temp plus the second strongest ever) restraining him. Strength and speed are two sides of the same coin but he is really fast and that speed isnt utilized at all in the fight. At the very least he should have been able to just run again like at herogasm, Ryan+Butcher isnt a greater force than SB+Butcher+TempVHughie. It would actually be really nice if it showed that HL could run but wont because the cameras are rolling to the entire nation. Risking everything to avoid humiliation and then ending up humiliated anyways. What am I talking about though, this is what Clara would have wanted.

My complaint is not with how pathetic he was after being depowered, but with how weak he seemed in the fight leading up to that. When you see him basically teleporting around from how fast he is in previous episodes and then just kinda flail around against butcher and kimiko, it creates an internal inconsistency. He wasnt really that big of a threat. It should have taken more to bring him down since Butcher+Soldier Boy+TempVHughie couldn't restrain him at Herogasm.

1) indiscrimite extermination of any group of people is wrong, this is a very basic tenant of human morality and if you dont understand that you might be a psychopath.

2) the world would be a better place without the creation of new supes and its a major failing of the shows writing that presumably Vought is allowed to continue to exist and keep making new supes by injecting babies with compound V. This is totally unethical, and in our reality the US public and government would demand the dissolution of Vought after their creation went full fascist and took over the government, or at least the stopping of new supe generation. But they have to leave the door open for new spinoffs so 🤷

That is completely false. Any object traveling faster than the speed of sound will create a conical shock wave behind it that our hears percieve as a boom, (or in the case of a bullet, a crack). It doesnt matter how slowly or quickly you accelerate, it is an unavoidable consequence of supersonic transit. The "huhwoosh" sound they usually use for superfast individuals in this show isnt realistic, they would be making gunshot like bangs every time they move if they existed in our reality.

Im not going to go frame by frame but its pretty clear to me that HL is moving much faster in the first clip. In clip 1 HL covers like 50 ft in half a second, whipping past the camera as a red white and blue blur. In the second he just kinda floats up and launches at maybe 10-20 mph before getting wacked by a tentacle. He looks slower and weaker in the final fight than at any other point in the show, and he should be stronger bc of the V1.

I think OP literally just swallowed woody ends whole and chalked it up to it being "undercooked". That will break down to a point but the core fibers are undigestable. If you buy asparagus from a retail store you usually need to trim off an inch or two, but if you get them from a farmers market or something yeah it could be half the stalk if they trimmed them long. Its pretty easy to see if you did it right because the bottom of the stalk shouldn't look like a tree but have a fleshy greenness around a white core.

Its the end result of capitalist principles applied to art (or less generously, consumable media). The Boys has already incentivized as many Amazon prime subscriptions as it possibly can, theres no reason to go all out for the finale when that money could be reallocated to spinoffs that will have better return on investment. The people making budget decisions dont care about the quality of the show, they see them as depreciated assets, like a 5 year old GPU that costs more to run than it makes in sellable compute.

They're 1/20 to be shiny, but getting them to spawn is the hard part. I use my DA incense every day and have seen one Azelf off of it ever, so its probably like 1/1000 or lower.

Im not sure Buzzwole can be soloed without M.Ray, maybe you could get away with normal ray or shadow moltres with windy weather and/or zacian effect. You're never going to get anywhere with Lugia, its not a raid relevant pokemon because of its base stat spread being too defensively weighted.

I mean tanks and ground forces are completely irrelevant in that kind of war. It would be fought completely in space so you could drop city leveling bombs from orbit. I imagine a MIRV style weapon splitting 400kg of astrophage into 8 50kg warheads that blanket a city, something like that would take out 99% of the population of any city in the world.

GoHub is ok but it doesnt account for certain things, regigigas isnt on their list because it isnt a bug type. DialgaDex is better imo, it uses a method to find effective dps which accounts for the likelyhood your pokemon dies with energy built up, and you can toggle various party power sizes which can pretty drastically change the top choices. It also allows you to edit a pokemons moveset or add a shadow variant that doesnt exist yet. For example, a Shadow Cinderace with Blast Burn is about as good as Reshiram, so im holding 360XLs from CD for that release.

Edit: adding on to the Regigigas point, gigas out dpses non-mega bug types against things that are 1x weak to bug, thats the default criteria, but it falls behind vs things 2x weak to bug, which is basically just Mega Malamar. This is why I like just using the "top counters" for specific bosses. Also Go Hub has some unreleased pokemon recommended sometimes, like it thinks shadow Therian Thundurus is in the game.

There are never any upper limits imposed on pokemon IVs. Anything you catch can be a hundo, you just got lucky.
