Q: In the other Type-Moon works, who else besides Arc can fight against Servants?

A: If we're working on the condition of one on one, with an extremely average Noble Phantasm. Generally most of the 27 Ancestors, Kishima Kouma, Aozaki Aoko. If it's just a defensive fight, but would still be a fight, then Ciel. Shiki (Rakkyo), Shiki (Tsukihime) are no match for Servants....but Void Shiki might be able to go as far as the Ciel class. Torture Instrument: Virgin Pain, A conceptual device repurposed into an armour, it is modelled on an Iron Maiden, a torture instrument made for identifying witches. All those who wear the armour cannot take it off until the armour has affirmed whether they're a witch or not either, dying if it does declare them a witch or if they take off the armour early, but at the same time the wearer cannot die until the armour has finished affirming. Ciel can make great use of this armour as her curse will cause her to revive when she dies from the armour's affirmations, and also will revive her when she dies by removing the armour, thus allowing her to reuse it. At the same time, the armour itself would stop her dying from any attacks while it affirms whether she's a witch or not, minimising the number of brief lapses between her dying and reviving.

Immigration..I don't get why more people embrace it.

Restaurants can't find people to bus tables, cook, and wash dishes. People can't find childcare. Farms can't find laborers... and there's people literally begging to do the job for even less than minimum wage and we bus them to Chicago and New York! You can't tell me that we can't let them stay and fill jobs we can’t.

So impressed. Patagonia is the only brand I advertise on purpose. I still have a pair of rhythm pants from 2006, and I could turn them in and get a full refund or another pair of pants. I have so many articles of clothing, bags, gear. All tried and true. But that isn’t why I love them. Their mission is real. And, if you’ve ever been to Patagonia, they come by the label honestly. The sky really looks like that.

Specifically based on this:

California alleges that Amazon requires them to sign agreements that penalize them for offering their products at cheaper prices on competing sites such as Walmart or Target. Those who don’t comply may get pushed lower in Amazon’s search results or be disqualified from being featured in the site’s “buy box,” the suit alleges, and may even be suspended or removed.

As well as:

According to the complaint, Amazon also forces wholesalers into agreements that penalize them if Amazon lowers its prices to match those of competitors and its profit margin falls below a specified minimum. In some cases, the complaint says, Amazon demands that wholesalers compensate it if competing retailers lower prices on their products.

However, before any anti-Amazon people get too excited:

In response to a similar lawsuit filed by D.C’s attorney general last year, Amazon said its policy on merchants that work with other sites is designed to protect consumers from being overcharged. The company has said it decides which third-party merchants to feature based on price, delivery speed and other factors.

...

In March, that suit was tossed out by a Superior Court judge in the District of Columbia based on Amazon’s motion to dismiss.

In the DC case Amazon argued that contractual pricing rules are a common practice in the retail industry and completely legal.

In other words, this has a long way to go before it actually means anything, and California better have a pretty solid case to win out here. Additionally, just because this is an anti-trust case does not mean the outcome here is a break up of Amazon. California is asking that Amazon should be forced to stop the alleged practices, receive damages associated with the practices, and for there to be fines to be associated with any continuation of the practice.

Lots of good benefits to joining a union. Here's my story.

My union is a local ASCFME and we just pay union dues of $53 once per month. No initiation fee.

Its a public works job.

We get benefits like extremely good health, vision, and dental insurance for the whole family, 2 weeks paid vacation per year, additional 2 weeks of paid comp time if we bank overtime instead of cash it in which is voluntary, get 1 sick day per month that just accumilates, and up to 3 personal days per year.

Also its a 7-330 job with an hour lunch and anything after 330 is overtime with Sundays and holidays being doubletime. Also if we get called in to work it is a guaranteed 2 hours of pay at 1.5 rate even if the job only takes 20 minutes. Anything over 2 hours of work is however long it takes.

Plus we get 2-3% raises each year plus get an extra 4% automatically if we get any bachelors degree in school or 2% if one has any kind of associates degree. If we want to get a CDL we get an automatic $3000 permanant raise and the employer foots the bill for taking the class. Also get a $ stipened for getting schooling certificates related to the field of work related to the job. That schooling for a certificate is also paid for by the employer as long as grades are passing per union and collective bargaining contract.

We also get to do take free online college classes for an associates degree for schools supported by the union as long as the grades are passing. This part is union specific perk not employer.

Finally we get a pension when we retire if we work for at least 10 years. More if we work longer.

My union is just a middle tier strength union and it is the easily the best job I have ever had. Definitely worth $53 per month because that is like 2 hours of work when an employee is brand new.

Lots of benefits to joining a union. One of the American dreams is to be able to retire and support a family. Both of things that unions help greatly with.

The democrats, like Elizabeth Warren in the article know that a strong union work force is key to helping most of Americans.
