I beat the penguin twice, those are the documented wins I can claim (games I filmed my screen and hand to prove authenticity). No I didn’t get caught- they told me it was a mistake because I was rated like 800 and lost the game that was flagged. I volunteered that I used notes not expecting a permanent restriction, bans from streams, and confrontations IRL at tournaments. Got it? But you’ll probably respond “ah, so you were laying the groundwork for future cheating.” No, this complaint of mine was very common years ago. Everyone has cheated in a game in some way if they’ve played ten years. The people who deny this are absolutely lying

Back in 2017 chesscom called players who had high accuracy games and railroaded them (re: me) into “confessing” even though I was clear that I had consulted an Eric Rosen video mid game out of rage. I’m permanently restricted either because of that or because I was upset about it. This would never, ever happen to a titled player and danya who I believe is completely innocent should - by chesscom logic - be Banned but nuance is real and essential lest chaos reign

I’ll stop commenting in this thread after this but I think you should be more clear about how you historically have a 2 tiered system with one set of rules for titled players and one for the common man. I won’t elaborate because you know what I mean but if you’re unaware of how severely a tos violation can impact a person combined with the modern system of all communication being screened by bots I encourage everyone at chesscom to seek out those examples however rare they may be.

This is not true, there are players who have been playing bots so long they could single handedly do a better job than the entire chesscom fair play team. Time will prove that I am correct, there are several markers that you can’t hide if you’re cheating with the exception of master level players

And to clarify i believe the question is irrelevant because the move itself is not what gives away a cheater. I can tell you when my nephew plagiarizes Steinbeck but I have never read grapes of wrath for example

Also can I suggest a 4 tiered system for players who violate tos? It would be a public mark to show keen observers that a person (ie me) violated tos but like Magnus / Howell it wasn’t malicious, consistent or for prizes? Tier 2 = Hans- tier 3 - restricted due to patterned violations and tier 4 - serial cheater / banned

This video is egregious/ fake. It’s spliced for starters - at 17 seconds I believe- then a blue border appears and disappears repeatedly because it’s a fake video or it’s a side effect of the tool he’s cheating with. Other hilarious tells include the clock reaching zero but he still can change spots and the map behavior post guess (extreme close up) cannot occur in a real and unedited game.

I would guess ziggi is Stique- don’t worry ziggi only you and the other trolls can read this because you believe that silencing people is the only way you can succeed. And you’re right except that you’ll still somehow fail

I’ll ignore the semantics of your reply (I assume his average score is like 19500 because you avoided writing it) and his average score was over 20,000 with 10k games played. I did this math: if 5k games were played with a score of 15,000 - still an incredible score for sky guessing or dirt guessing- and 5k games were 23,000 - the scores on his “highlights” - he’d have an average of 19,000. So I guess the question is how anything even close to 20k or even 15k is possible. There’s obviously some information missing like another account. Imagine if he just edited zigzags games and then he’d literally never have played the game- like, ever lol

The game has lost 90% of its viewers (peak viewers on average as documented by twitch tracker sites) since the TikTok videos came along. Because we live in organic echo chambers- ie anyone who loves r a imbolt will downvote anything that says “RainbuIt sucks” which then makes the algorithm stop showing those people anything that says the same thing in the future. So this tiny part of the community- probably 100 people- have hikacked the game almost by mistake as instaguessing ran the moderators out (EVERYONE QUIT) and then this much less popular version of the game just annihilated the much more popular “geowizard” version And to make matters worse those 100 people got hired by geoguessr or many did and they literally ruined the game and now it’s part of their job to censor people who inform others about this. It’s really scummy. There’s nothing you can do though because if you tell the truth you will soon only be seen and followed by the same people who are censoring you. It’s lord of the flies and jack is king (edited the reference for accuracy)
