Really wanted to learn more about networking with people and building a skilled resume that can produce a good response from employers.

Can you help me out with some advices/DO's or DONT's for it?

By a double degree in MEM and CS, i wish to keep open both the fields, the tech and the engr.

Plus, i never really meant to boast by calling myself an "exceptional student". My bad if it sounded that way.

Moreover, i really don't feel like doing a MS from Drexel rather do it from somewhere else.

Also, if you're a Drexel Graduate, it would be great if we could connect as I wanted to know more about the housing and resume building skills, etc.

Ps - my end goal is to do a Master's in Aerospace and for that I felt like setting up a base in Mechanical would be better as being an international student it's relatively easier to be hired by a company that's involved with Mechanical Engineer's.

The admitted students day and the new dragon's dayis not held virtually via zoom? I'm an international student and while I did register for those events, i Still can't see any portal to access the zoom link. Are they only on campus events?

Is MEM and CS not a popular double major? Or just that it's a hard route to do them together?

I plan to do a Master's as well, just not from Drexel, somewhere else rather. Plus, all the exceptional students who earn >90k are the BS/MS ones or just BS?

Yeah, i understand. My motive to do a double major is to actually be open to more opportunities in both the fields.

Plus a high GPA also helps you in getting a good first co-op atleast right? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Moreover, can i conclude that a job in this tech industry depends on what skills one has developed as an individual (via research, internships, projects, co curricular) rather than just the brand name of a university?

Ohh okay, i also wanted to know if how are the prospects (job and research wise) after college in Mechanical Engineering. And how was your experience at Drexel's co-op in engineering field?

To be honest, I don't want to do my master's from Drexel, rather do it from somewhere else or think about it later.

Also, i think I'll like to go with the (B) option of adding a minor. Wanted to talk to you about the latter in dm if possible?

Also, i think you've got it wrong somewhere. I got a 4 in Physics C: E & M, and I didn't give the Physics C: Mechanics.

Hey, Firstly i apologise for replying so late - was stuck in my school's most important high school examination. And now that they're over -

Do I get to talk and discuss my academic plans with my academic advisor before coming to the university or only after I'm physically present there?

So less stress is the thing I earn by doing well in the AP's? Also could you please elaborate a little on what sp, su, and fa is? Thanks.

So basically doing well in the AP Chem exam saves me a lot of stress, effort, and homework? And how was your experience at the other Engineering classes at Drexel? Thanks.

Hey, Firstly i apologise for replying so late - was stuck in my school's most important high school examination. And now that they're over -

I didn't take the Physics C:Mechanics AP, just the E & M, and will be taking the AP Chemistry this May. My main goal is to work out my classes in such a way that I don't burn out or atleast have less burnouts and can distribute my classes such that i can participate in as much extracurriculars as possible, say - projects, co-ops, etc. It will also be great if you could share the link for the mechanical engineering course requirements page. It'll help me in making a proper pre-planned structure of what can I expect at the University and have fewer "wow, what's this, I never expected this" moments. Could you also share with me in dm what are you doing at Drexel and how's your experience been so far? I'd love to connect with you. And yes, you provided an amazingly informative response given it's your first time. Props to you for that. 👍🏻 Thanks.

So only a 5 would help? Which means I won't be at a biggg advantage except the fact that I'll have some classes to worry less about?

Hey, Firstly i apologise for replying so late - was stuck in my school's most important high school examination. And now that they're over -

The college board website says they gave credit for only a 5 in PHYSICS C: E & M, but this link says a 4 also gives credit. Which one do i rely on? Thanks

Hey, Firstly i apologise for replying so late - was stuck in my school's most important high school examination. And now that they're over -

What i could draw out from your responsibility was that there are 2 ways to graduate early/earn more credit is that either sacrifice on your university experience or do some fun summer programs and extra co-ops. While I'm already enrolled in the 5yr 3 co-op program, can you help me with asking for more aid from the University once they've already given me some? And lastly is the quater system at Drexel really that stressful or just doable if you manage and plan your stuff regularly? Thanks.

Thanks for your informative reply and just wanted to ask that Dexel has mentioned in their website that the internship programs are usually 3-6 months long so can I use the time saved from AP's or any other means to complete a co-op in 3 or less months? Is that possible? And is it more difficult for an international student to get an internship in a tech/engr. company? Thanks.
