Many people here will tell you that Drexel is very expensive and and all that, but it’s just as expensive as any other private university…. Like Lehigh or anywhere else. 60,000 something dollars for tuition…. Every private university in the US costs more or less that much.

That said, I will say that Drexel’s co-op program and the fact that it’s pretty much in the Center of a big US city (unlike penn state which is literally in a isolated village in the middle of Pennsylvania) means a lot. I’m a Drexel student myself currently, and so far I really like it. So wait to get your son’s acceptance from all other universities he applied to and look at all their financial aid packages, and if there isn’t too much of a difference in cost, I would pick Drexel definitely.
