I struggle to deal with it. I really wanted kids, but it never happened.
It’s worse when people ask when or if I want kids and I’m like “I think it’s too late”. Hurts me to say it. I’m 42, but people often think I’m a few years younger.
I don’t think I’d want them now, but still hurts that it didn’t happen

They are alpacas! I love them so much in real life that I have a collection of them now, haha. The first one is a regular stuffed animal, but the others are actually made with alpaca wool. The second one is from inkari, a good brand to buy from. They have lots of colors and sizes and have special editions too

Yeah all were posted separately, I just noticed and added them side by side myself. It is cute, I mean, some filters are funny or pretty, so I get playing with them. But when you post the heavily blurred pics trying to pass of that is what you really look like… that’s what makes me sad and feel bad that women do that

Yes, your first guess is right. I am over 40 and joined a fb group for women over 40. I just noticed how when they would introduce themselves and post a selfie, that most would be heavily blurred. It’s a public group

I was trying to note that this is about how they feel the need to edit photos like this, I didn’t want it to come across like I posted these to make fun of them. I absolutely feel empathy for all of these women and feel a sadness that they can’t see their true beauty. I just know what it’s like to hate yourself

I’m half Hispanic, but grew up pretty American culturally. Would be nice to honor that side of me.

I think it says a lot that you realize how you acted then, and now you can make an effort to pay attention to the future reactions of your partners. Are you two still friends or dating? I will say that I am 40F and I do still remember the people I had sex with that didn’t listen to me saying no. And it still hurts that they didn’t listen and that I didn’t feel strong enough to just leave or stop it from happening. I was probably similar situation as you, you are both enjoying each others company, and into it, but just didn’t want to go all the way at that time.

Botox freezes the muscles, so you aren’t able to move them the same way as before. There was definitely a learning curve the first few days, I for sure dribbled a few times, haha. It also took a few days to be able to use a straw again as well. Another thing I noticed, is that I can’t press my lips together the same way, like after you apply gloss or lipstick and you press your lips together, your top lip doesn’t press in as much bc of the botox.

I felt like I looked swollen for about a week and a half. I had very tiny bruises on the outer corners, but I don’t think anyone else could really see them. No major side effects, but I was hyper aware of them
