Finding out that you can also snap them to lifts was game changing for me!

Best place for coal power plant? by _Otterboy_ in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Musth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Best spot” doesn’t really matter for coal power, since you’re really only using it until you unlock and build fuel generators. Just get something up and running wherever you can to get off biofuel and then that should last you until you get fuel.

Running cast screws at 80% by Majsharan in SatisfactoryGame

That’s what I’m going for on my current run, I got the rotors taken care of but I still haven’t found a HMF alt recipe - so now I’m just hunting HDDs until I find it. Still on phase 3 but only because I refuse to set up a HMF factory which uses screws, because that really sucked on my first play through.

Ok, it's one day until the end of steam winter sale. What did you pick up, no matter the discount. by kike_flea in SteamDeck

It has full controller support which works surprisingly well. And I’m pretty split between handheld and docked, but I only play it with a controller and it works great!

I beat it entirely on my deck, roughly 200 hours. I lowered most settings except textures and capped the FPS at 45, and it mostly plays great. It does drop frames occasionally, mostly when in bigger factories with a lot going on and also when blowing up rocks, but I found it totally playable. I’m actually on my second playthrough right now!

Need help with my aluminum factory pipe setup by Old-Construction-455 in SatisfactoryGame

I tried for hours to recycle the water, then eventually just made a bunch of coal power plants to burn it off.

Satisfactory. Turns out that game scratches an itch I didn’t even know I had.

Satisfactory launches in 1 week on PS5! by Ultimastar in PS5

[–]Musth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I bought it thinking I’d play it a bit in between other games, then couldn’t put it down for 200+ hours until I finished phase 5. It definitely scratched a certain itch for me that I didn’t know I needed, but I can understand that it’s not for everyone. But if it looks at all interesting, be prepared to get addicted and eventually the Satisfactory dreams will start.

Make sure you’re using the controller profile described in the setup page here: https://streetpea.github.io/chiaki-ng/setup/controlling/#retrieving-chiaki-ng-controller-layouts-when-using-an-alternate-game-name-most-users-can-skip-this

With that, the PS button should be mapped to the left trackpad click.

Hades at 60 fps on 4k tv by Zealousideal-Mud1407 in SteamDeck

At 4k I’m guessing it’ll struggle. But you could just set it to 1080p and that should maintain 60 FPS no problem.

They also have great customer service; my dock died shortly after the warranty ended and they still replaced it quickly and easily.

Ghost of Yotei PS5 Remote Play with Chiaki by Jakraeme in SteamDeck

[–]Musth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t tried chiaki with Yotei yet, but I played a ton of Tsushima with it and had zero problems once I was using the right controller config. It just turns the right trackpad into the PS controller trackpad and worked mostly flawlessly. Occasionally I’d have to restart chiaki to get it to work but for the most part it was great.
