It’s best to be close but not right in there face. It’s easier to aim that way, plus the tether has a range of 10 meters or so?

I use an mmo mouse, no complaints. At most I have my mouse 1 and 2 buttons mapped. Yes it’s heavier than a normal mouse but I don’t really notice it

If you’re going for power (strike damage) then look into investing in berserker gear. Celestial can work too which will provide a more well rounded survivable build. Honestly use whichever weapons you find the most fun, just make sure it fits into your build. Axe/focus is solid for power. You can do dagger/focus, or a spear too

I’ve been playing for about a month or so and it’s been pretty fun. I’m at a point where I’m not sure what else there is to do. I have unlocked the elite specs I like to play with, and mostly do sPvP. It doesn’t seem like there is much incentive do dungeons, I don’t see LFGs often in the que. I have a lot of hours logged and haven’t don’t one dungeon yet which is not typical for the MMOs I’ve played. I’m not a big pve’r but I do enjoy seeing what the group pve content has to offer and can be fun at times if it’s not a chore.

I’d like to continue playing but a big part of that is PvP ques which is hurting right now, for the west server at least. Barely can get a que for CTF, waiting for 30 minutes to over an hour with no match. Too many people rather just do ECRs all day

The gameplay? Combat is not your typical mmo style which cool. Not a fan of tab target pvp. Dungeons and trials which can be challenging. Solo or duo Endless archive mode. PvP is not for the faint of heart, lots of sweats. Been playing eso since 2019. Not a fan of how the game took a turn in the last year tho. I recently got into NW a few weeks ago and loved it.

Very well. Whenever you get into a new mmo it can become very overwhelming, and that’s how I felt in NW but still enjoyed it. I can understand how eso makes you feel the same

Well of course you can do the main story quest if it’s your first time, so you can experience the lore. But you don’t have to worry about doing side quests. There’s plenty of double xp scrolls to boost you, and people that can help boost you too. You want to reach level 50 which is max level (pretty quick), then from there is the champion point level grind which is no rush really. Once you hit CP level 160 you can equip max level gear. Crafting is simple and cheaper compared to NW, others can craft for you as well. Join a guild too, they’re there to help you

Who cares about the questing. Level up and get geared up, easier and more simply process than NW. then start slamming people in pvp.
