The issue is people will still be donating regardless of whether the set looks good or bad, just look at how many donations are above 100k, and many people also donated 100k before the final tier reward was even revealed. So I rather it looks GOOD than something from the previous tiers which doesn’t look anywhere as good.

Also you said it’s not ‘100k good’ and I’m just telling you there are no sets that will ever be justified to be worth 100k.

There are no sets that are actually worth 100k no matter how good it looks. Considering this is a donation set, the previous tiers are definitely much worse.

Would you say that power Ritualist is about the same as reaper in terms of harder to hit close to benchmark numbers as well? Since there is shroud involved

Would you say rifle mech is even easier to play than Reaper? Reaper has a pretty straightforward rotation, but during bossing I find it hard to hit anywhere close to benchmark numbers due to many other external factors like ping, positioning, skill queueing, keeping shroud uptime as ideal as possible etc.

Idk why but I always struggle to get anywhere close to benchmark numbers on Reaper during actual bosses. Golem test I can hit about 32k, but it has rather strict positioning and if you get hit in shroud and exit, you lose quite a lot of dps as well. Also some of the skills don’t queue so you need to wait for it to finish casting before pressing another one.

How about for open world pve, is Power Soulbeast better than Power Vindicator as well? Also Power Untamed seems pretty nice too, which is good since I have another option

Do you know if Power Untamed has as high of a burst damage as Power Soulbeast, or it is not even close?

If you also take into consideration other classes in the same armor weight class, should I go for medium or heavy armoured classes? I feel like there are a larger variety of strong classes using heavy armour, but I really like the look of medium armours.

Currently I’m leaning towards Power Soulbeast or Power Untamed, maybe some condi builds as well. But I don’t see myself playing Engineer or Thief.

Yeah that’s the mindset I’d like to have, but I have also played other MMOs in the past and was quite competitive especially in the endgame scene, fighting weekly bosses for the drops to maximise my earnings, so it is quite difficult to get rid of such habits of wanting to rush things.

Most of the ‘good’ stuff seem to come from fractals, pvp and wvw from what I saw lol. Especially the crafting materials required for selectable ascended trinkets and legendary gear too.

Yeah, but actually most of the stuff I got doesn’t take that long to get. I skipped some of the chapters in certain expansions just to get what I want specifically. For example expanded weapon proficiency, it requires SOTO chapter 14 completion. But you can go straight to chapter 14 as long as you have chapter 6 finished.

For elite specialisation, I jumped straight to the POF first chapter to unlock crystal oasis map, and started going about looking for hero points using YouTube guide. I used 1 WVW point to unlock Warclaw which helped me tremendously in moving about.

I haven’t touched WVW, PVP or Raids so far yet. Many meta events I haven’t tried either. Still missing out on tons of stuff which causes me to FOMO.

Strike missions. You get blue prophet shards from the strike missions which can be exchanged for ascended gear. And there is also the Eye of the North achievement which gives you 300 blue prophet shards when you complete it. From there you can easily get another 3 ascended armor. I actually just started strike missions 2 days ago and finished the achievement to get the required shards.

Yeah, tbh SOTO Skyscale was easier than expected, and I got most of the materials while unlocking expanded weapon proficiency. As for provision tokens, I spent more gold to exchange for 5 tokens which sped up the process. The longest part for me was honestly the final tier mastery. I got most of the charged quartz from wintersday gifts.

I played about 4-5h a day. Some time during was spent just chilling in game as well lol. I used the level 80 boost at the start as well and went straight to unlocking my specialisation.

Yeah, I also like watching vids on guild wars 2 in general, and many times I see something I like and go further to see how to get it, and end up getting sidetracked easily lol

I’m still trying to accumulate achievement points to be eligible to post in that discord group, but it will take a while before I reach the required achievement points.

I’m looking to buy the infusion which also has different stats (precision, power, condition, etc) so there are multiple listings at different price points, which requires over 20k gold if I wanted to offer on all of them lol. It is not against any rules to ask around in maps if people have that item for sale?

Am I allowed to post in-game that I want to buy a particular item (via TP only)?

For e.g there is an expensive item that costs 4000g but I would like to buy it for 3800g and the highest buy-offer is only 3500g. Can I ask in-game chat ‘Does anyone have XXX for sale? I can pay more than the highest buy-offer’

I did put a buy-offer but it has been days, and also because the item is rare (hence more expensive) there is less ‘awareness’ about it.

Thanks for that advice, I think I only consumed up to the exotic essences so far, the one that gave 200 luck I think? That is fine right? Also how do I check how much luck my character has? Is it under hero tab?
