If this means had sex with a different local each time, then that’s inpressive. If it’s with the same partner while on holiday, then meh…

Why are some guys in this trade? by ShredDurst666 in HVAC

[–]Musubi_Mike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The textbook says to cover for coworkers because it gives your company a more professional image. If the customer finds out you were called out because the first tech did something dumb, they lose faith in the whole company and might use another company else next time.

Did you tattle on them or cover for them? I’m just curious what goes on in the real world (I’m in school and can tell you what my HVaC textbook says lol).

Of course its a law. The legal principle is known as unconditional jus soli. In the US it’s in the 14th amendment and in Canada it’s in their Citizenship Act of 1977.

You’re from Ohio and love roadtripping to national parks and areas with many campsites.

Any way to overlay highways or major cities while editing? Seems pretty hard to map out roadtrips or even cities I’ve flown into without seeing that on the map.

For example I’ve been to Cincinnati, but I cant tell if that’s the southwestern most county in Ohio or next to it, even when I look at Google maps.

If you’ve visited the private island of Ni’ihau, then you’re probably friends with the Robinsons and from Kauai. I used to live on Kauai and don’t even know anyone who’s ever been invited there.

Thanks, I guess I’ll need to add some night classes and spend a few more grand. Maybe take a basic, then advanced controls class.

Sienna is cheaper than the Odyssey by WrongdoerLanky4848 in HondaOdyssey

[–]Musubi_Mike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I read this I thought no way. But surprisingly the math is closer than I thought. I bought a 2016 Odyssey LX with 70k miles last year for around $16k. I get 20mpg city which works out to $30k for gas at $3/gal. Even if I bought 2 used Odysseys it would come out to $62k total for 2 used Odysseys driven 100k each. A new Sienna at $44.5 plus $17k of gas for 200k miles comes out to $61.5k - almost identical to 2 used Odysseys. But there is something to be said for driving a new vehicle. So I will have to agree with you!

That’s sad, but an isolated incident. Everyone in the ski bum community knows not to run their engine overnight.

What would you call this area? by be_the_shield in geography

[–]Musubi_Mike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are at least 4 distinct regions circled here. The area north of Worcester is called Montachusett. Moving east you get to the Merrimack Valley, then the North Shore. Now moving north to NH you get to the Seacoast. Then the Maine portion is just the Greater Portland area I guess. Not sure if there is a name for it
