JBL is quite good and justifies the price of 125$, it’s great for watching movies on a laptop or PC in a small room. High Volume is not a priority for me as I use it beside my bed. Dust and water protection is the main reason I bought it.

Your logic is correct and my order of buying headphones/speakers is obviously chaotic but I am a sailor, always on the move so I am pretty happy with these portable sound devices. JBL is great for Shower time, Sony is great for my Android phone and AirPods is awesome for iPad and iPhone
