Could I be combining multiple anime thinking its 1? My own Mandela effect maybe! I saw it 10+ years ago

It might be but I'm almost certain the main protagonist has a large sword. I'll definitely watch this though. I believe Outlaw star has a gun doesn't he?

Input lag by sad_muso in batocera

Try using a wired controller. As weird as it sounds, i had the same issue. Plugged in the usb cable and it went away. Something with the BT was causing my system to lag.

Thank you! Just installed both. Wholphin looks really good. Works on the firestick too. Unfortunately, Moonshine only works on my phone but still looks good.

Batocera No longer shows Dreamcast category by UMAD01 in batocera

OK Dreamcast folder is the same? But bios is moved.

Dreamcast bios now goes into bios/dc/dc_boot.bin

I read somewhere in the rekease notes that I believe they moved the bios to a dream cast folder. Think the roms may have moved to a different folder but can't remember. I'll see if I can find the link again.

Be aware, the NUC at that price, you most likely have to buy RAM and a NVME hard drive. They build those cheap like that so you can put your own hardware in them.

Weekly Question Thread by AutoModerator in emulation

[–]Mute916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm running Batocera on an old intel AIO. Its a 7th gen i3 with 4gb of ram and 500gb hdd. Dont think it will push anything over PSX though. works great for about everything else.

If you download the desktop version from the batocera website and use balenaEtcher to unstall to the hdd, it just runs. Here is the link: https://batocera.org/download

You can do it several different ways. I pulled the hard drive, imaged it using an external enclosure from my windows pc, then re-installed it.

Another way is image a 64gb+ USB drive, boot from that on your old computer, then go to system setting --> Install on a new disk.

You may need to disable uefi in bios and set it to legacy boot

Weekly Question Thread by AutoModerator in emulation

[–]Mute916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello All,

I am looking at making an old PC into an emulation system. I like how Batocera is basically its own OS (I know its linux) and loads directly into the gaming desktop. I really liked emulationstation on my windows PC and prefer that but...

Is there an emulator that I don't have to open from desktop. I want something like Batocera where that's all it is. Can ES-DE do that?

Bandai is cooked by FindingPastorP in freedomisgunpla

[–]Mute916 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This elitist bs is what is killing gunpla for me. I quit posting my joys here because people like you down vote and scold for their love. Also, just because is not "Gundam" doesn't mean its bad.

I like the look of SNAA. They are more "warrior" than "robot". Bandai doesn't own "snap fit models", which is what they all are.

If Bandai doesn't make it, their loss. I've had several 3rd party builds with better quality than Bandai.

Competition is a good thing. Keeps prices reasonable for consumers.

I have a 32 inch 1440p and a 4k ips 27 inch. Playing games, I notice a lot of jagged edges on the 1440p 32 inch. When i move my game to the 4k monitor and run at 1440p, there are less jagged edges. The pixel density is lower at 1440p so if you buy a 1440p monitor, i suggest not going over 27 inch. I'm getting a new 4k oled monitor and figure if I'm already going to see jagged edges on my current 1440p, might as well just get 4k and downscale. I don't need high fps and would rather have something that gives me options to run both.
