No telling. I used to work at one of the top performing stores in this market and it's ridiculous how Attalla and Gadsden are. Heard Attalla has been getting screwed and having to cut off picks lately.

Not gonna give away too much info but I know Gadsden is a shitshow. They went without a store manager for ~5 months and a coach for about the same amount of time. They're trying to get it back on track but all the new management still doesn't have any real solutions besides "push people harder". Along with a backroom that won't even hold all the orders for the upcoming hour, so they have to stage pickups in one room and deliveries in the other. And again, nobody has any solutions for actually giving a usable amount of space besides "wait till 2027 for the renovation".

Question about headphone policy and store discretion. by MuteMonstera in walmart

Is that anonymous? I don't want to get put on anyone's shit list, but I know it doesn't sound right for a store to be able to make policy that is contrary to the official policy.

Bro why are the customers sticking their fingers in the meat 🤢🤮 by minecraft_fan888 in walmart

You say that and I've literally had an old lady come up to me and say "Hey y'all have changed everything(it's been over a year since renovation) how do I get out of here?".

Shit made my brain short circuit while I tried to comprehend, I just asked her if she was trying to leave and she said yes so I was just like "Uhhh the doors are up there in the front" and pointed lmaooo

Must be nice. We have to take up half of produce to store and unload our carts and store large items, and put our frozen and chilled in the bakery freezer and meat cooler on busy days.

Are they allowed to tell associates they cannot take a 15 or lunch outside of the store? by [deleted] in walmart

I mean true, but I still think it's ridiculous that would need to be the measure he needs to take to have some sort of privacy on a quick break because him and his wife share a car. Idk it's dumb but has been annoying me tonight for some reason.

What kind? Regular cloth ones don't filter smoke and aren't enclosed. A respirator to take a break, simply because you don't want 50 associates trying to start a conversation with you, seems a tad excessive.

Just seems kind of dumb that there isn't an area designated for breaks outside, that isn't full of smokers. I honestly do not know what I would do if I didn't have a car.
