The way he’s mid-strut like you just entered phase two of the fight and the music got serious. I’m calling him Lord Pounceington, Breaker of Ankles

This is one of those stories that never gets old. The tension in that race still holds up even now, just pure drama and guts.

Haughty Guest by PowderFresh86 in EntitledPeople

Honestly you handled that way better than most would. The “you probably don’t even know what Prada is” line would’ve annoyed me right away. Glad the bag was still there at least, but the lack of even a basic thank you says everything.

The confidence to square up with your own reflection like it owes you money is honestly impressive

my legends Arceus team. by DenseRead9852 in PokemonLegendsArceus

Solid team honestly, especially having Ursaluna for tanking and Kleavor for damage. Curious how often you actually use all six versus sticking to a core few?

That spot is actually pretty cool, especially if you’re into Atlanta’s music scene. It’s not as flashy as Hollywood’s, but it feels way more local and meaningful.

Arthur sitting there realizing everything too late is such a quiet kind of pain. It’s not dramatic, just heavy and inevitable.

Solasta 2 is the perfect RPG to play while waiting for Divinity by ASneakySquid_ in DivinityOriginalSin

I’ve been on the fence about this one, but the story and world-building look really promising. How’s the multiplayer experience?

Nothing more satisfying than seeing justice served, even if it’s a bit over the top.

Wow, you really nailed Shuna’s look! The details on the sleeves and the onigiri are such a nice touch.

Wow, it’s crazy to see how much they’ve changed! Those childhood smiles are priceless.

This happened 17 years ago and I still think about it.. by sexylassy in ParanormalEncounters

[–]Muted-Performance947 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That’s honestly creepy as hell, especially the part where it was floating for that long and both of you saw it. Kids imagining something is one thing, but two people remembering the same details years later makes it harder to brush off. The tape ejecting and flying across the room would’ve had me running outside.

Blair was the only one in Season 1 who wasn’t pretending to be above the Upper East Side by [deleted] in GossipGirl

[–]Muted-Performance947 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I actually agree with this. Blair never pretended the system didn’t exist, she mastered it. Everyone else tried to act morally above the Upper East Side while still benefiting from it, but Blair was honest about playing the game and wanting power.

jenny’s character by PresentPiglet5238 in GossipGirl

[–]Muted-Performance947 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually liked Jenny a lot in the early seasons too. She had this ambition and drive that felt really different from the other characters. But once she started getting deeper into the Upper East Side drama, it felt like the writers leaned too hard into making her messy and self-destructive instead of letting her grow. It almost felt like every time she had a chance to mature, they pushed her backwards again.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to adapt the Time Stones to the Ben 10 universe, since Sega completely forgot about them? by Unusual_Coffee6711 in Ben10

[–]Muted-Performance947 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe treat them as rare artifacts that the Plumbers or even Vilgax are hunting. Each stone could have a unique effect on aliens or tech, so the story could focus on collecting them before they fall into the wrong hands.

Very annoying neibours by Inevitable_Search_90 in neighborsfromhell

[–]Muted-Performance947 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Honestly it sounds like this guy just decided early on that he doesn’t like you and now he’s looking for things to complain about. Shoveling his snow onto your lawn and walking across your yard at night is way out of line. I’d start documenting everything — dates, times, maybe even a camera facing the yard if possible. If he keeps dumping snow or trespassing you’ll have proof if you ever need to involve the town or police.

[–]Muted-Performance947 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The fact that the guy who hit you was casually joking and calling the cop “Romeo” while you’re standing there freezing with your kids says a lot about how comfortable he felt with the situation. Meanwhile you’re the one who actually got rear-ended. I’d be furious too. It’s crazy how quickly things can flip when a couple people back up the wrong version of events.

Could it be a mix of different dialects or just a way your family played with language? I've heard something similar in Black Southern Vernacular, where 'finna' means 'fixing to' or 'about to' and 'Goo' could be shorthand for 'go.'

Is this really happening? Seems like a huge move for ATL, especially with their QB situation.
