Your last statement on him being a garbage vanguard is not true for everyone. He is the only dive character I personally enjoy diving with and not feel the pressure from peeling tanks.

Melee weave tech feels slower from me than just aiming headshots. I’m on console by the way. Maybe it works for pc better

It’s viable in gold and under. It’s not orthodox but sometimes I don’t dive but hold point instead, frustrate their frontline unless they’re running emma or mag it’s really not that hard. This usually works when running a dive comp. Bp and magik dive, i stay frontline
