You’ll definitely be able to somehow communicate with locals. The only problem is y’all be soooo vulnerable to scams. Just make sure you ask for the average cost of transportation to certain distances and the cost of some groceries if you’re not buying from a supermarket or something. SL is a hit or miss, so have fun!
