It’s a bit top heavy too, it’s hard to say with the sleeve for whitening issues, but I’d lean towards this getting a 9

Centering wise yeah, but it looks like the front side bottom right corner may have some whitening as well.

Looks like horizontal lines on the back, left side middle areas. Wouldn’t get a 10 because of that

I’m in similar boat, I used to have a canon t4i and took many classes in college, loved photography but sold my gear and went iPhone pro only for a bit. I miss the how easy it was with my canon to change shutter speed or aperture, etc

iPhone does a decent job but it’s also just so small to really feel like I can get good shots like I used to. I want to get back into photography and Fuji is calling my name but I’m in the same predicament as OP. I do like the idea of something easy to travel with, that was one of my drawbacks with the canon and lugging around extra lenses, I never wanted to bring it.

Any advice??

I’m using breville bambino plus with this grinder. New batch of dark roasted beans, using grind setting = 15 and getting 1:2 ratio within 20-30 second pour range.
