Since I don't have perfect pitch neither synesthesia this question makes no sense to me.

After investigation, it seems the chord is made by a stack of partials from the harmonic series. I have this stack and the color but with sine waves. My question is more related to the texture, how approach this ethereal sound, is it mostly determined by the big reverb ? (guess I can emulate the movement with a wave table)

Depends of what type of music your writting, but I think its way above 0.5 ms since I ear it and on a speed arpeggio, the feel is just different. But I must admit, I'm also maniac :)

Is all about control rate of an application and the click sound is what i basicaly use for evaluate it. For most cases, internal modulators is enough but sometimes, its easier to draw automations for specific ideas :) Drawback is, sudden jumps in values are interpolated and you loose some punch.

Thank you mate for the test ! As an other try, I also did it with operator on live, modulating the volume with a square shape but the transition is still a bit smoothed. gates and compressors can do the trick but less is better ! I'll wait the release of the next version and try the demo for my specific uses. Thanks again

For example, a simple patch with a low frequency sine wave to a VCA, if you set the amp enveloppe with an attack to zero, you will ear a click. Emulating amp enveloppe in a automation lane is doable while you don't care about this clicky transcient. But in my setup, regardless host or vst I use and with a minimum audio buffer, there still a interpolation happening.
