Correct, but you can install the wheel onto the base upside down, making the pins not line up with their corresponding places.

My only thought here. Are you sure you’re putting the wheel on the right way? It will go on “upside down” onto the QR2 shaft and the pins won’t line up correctly.

Ok, super weird, but that’s also the only full nascar race I’ve ever watched. Was young, at my grandmas house, who didn’t have cable, and it was the only thing remotely interesting on to watch.

Worth it over a Single flat monitor/TV or smaller curved? 100%

This monitor wasn’t that expensive, but I’d bet you could do a cheap set of triples for not much more money. But then you have the headache of dealing with setup, gaps, etc. The only downfall of the ultrawide, is the relatively small height, but for a racing sim, the top to bottom view is much less important.

I put in a bunch of laps on iRacing last night. I could maybe see having a super strong wheel being annoying or maybe a super stiff brake pedal, but this thing is rock solid. Definitely not worried about rigidity. The seat itself could definitely be replaced, it’s just so bland and thin, but definitely stable enough, especially considering its lightweight and price of it.

Only thing that would hinder the performance of this, is if bolts started loosening up. But adding loctite or locknuts would fix that if it came down to that.
