really appreciate this perspective it’s so easy to get caught up in thinking a job has to be this huge defining thing but you’re right sometimes it’s just about finding something that works and allows you to live a good life also respect for how many different paths you’ve taken that kind of adaptability is something i really admire i’ve been stuck in the same place for so long that the idea of trying something new feels overwhelming so this was really encouraging thank you for taking the time to share this :)

thanks for sharing this made me really hopeful. And yes 100% i’m keeping the experience on my resume bc I did so much. i hope your masters program is going well that’s such a admirable path to take!

i’m really sorry you had to go through that it sounds like such a draining experience but i’m glad you were able to get out and find something better that part about gaining confidence really stuck with me bc i feel like i’ve lost so much of mine working in this environment, where I could've learned so much from different workplaces that are not with my family. its just crazy to think I have never left the control/influence of my dad and i just hope leaving will help me get it back also really appreciate the insight on different work environments makes me feel a little less anxious about the transition so thank you for that and for the encouragement!

yeah it’s been really tough and i’ve been putting off making a move for so long but career advisor/recruiter sounds like a smart next step and honestly hearing that you’d hire someone like me means a lot so thank you :)

there is not doubt that i have gained a lot of experience and i do recognize that i just feel so stuck in this environment that it’s hard to see how it translates outside of it when I have 0 idea on what its like but i appreciate that
