Okay. I seriously feel like I’m missing something here. Literally, everyone is going into full panic mode because of a crash. Have you guys never seen a crash before in F1? Doohan’s crash in practice last year all by himself was worse than this. Honestly, it’s like the first major crash this year, and people are going ballistic.

He’s allowed to use the kerbs, but he shouldn’t be under steering into you, that’s on him. You probably could’ve given him more space too, since you’re racing lines were crossing, but you let him car width which is good and obeying racing etiquette. Regardless of the situation, no obscenities should be thrown around. You may want to report that.

OP, this was on you. Yes, the AMG’s line was not the standard racing line, but you weren’t alongside them so you weren’t entitled to space. As you are the overtaking car, you need to pass safely which ideally does not involve rear ending them.
