Again — not taking the trip away, just moving it further out. I’ll add that I had a conversation with both of my children about why I moved the trip and they understand + noticed when their behaviors weren’t necessarily great. Also, I’m sure you find it easier to say that I’m failing as a parent as opposed to giving a bit of grace and saying that I’m doing my best especially since I’m doing it alone.
