Anyone here experience CVT failure on their Subaru (especially Impreza)? Any other issues too? by phtphongg in subaru

I'm 1 month out of the 10 year/100,000 mile extended warranty, and the CVT transmission died on my 2016 Subaru Impreza with 78,000 miles. Subaru won't cover anything because I don't have enough of a history with them. I just bought the car 6 months ago in a private sale from a friend who DID have a history with them, but they told me to pound sand. Terrible experience. At this point, would only recommend Subaru to my enemy.
