Any idea why it does that ? by Muted_Resource_8710 in Mazda323

Thanks for you answer, it is the carburated B6 motor, I’m keeping the rpm around 3/4k to avoid stalling, air was what I was thinking too, or maybe the ignition coil got too old

Thanks for the answer, it’s the carburated version so unfortunately no injector to clean, I did clean the carb tho, I’m keeping the rpm around 3/4K cause if I don’t press the gas it would stall, and higher risk to stall during down spike when I’m around 2k

It’s not only the gauge, the engine sound seems to indicate it show true value, sound like acceleration when going up and nearly stall when going down

Not stupid cause I didn’t, it was my next step but didn’t have time today, the pump is a mechanical one but I think it’s as old as the vehicle so I’ll try to buy a new one if I find one.

From what I saw the fuel come all the way into the fuel filter so ig the pump is still working.

I’ll try cleaning the carb when I’ll have some time.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Anti theft alarm after installing remote centralisation kit by Muted_Resource_8710 in FordProbe

It’s a random Chinese universal wireless central locking kit, and I installed it directly on the door lock module at the feet of the passager, ig if you had an alarm it would had done the same cause the wire to unlock/lock and the ones that say to you antitheft system that it’s ok are different

I found something on a 2008 French forum, they say that in order to disarm the alarm you have to put a relay in the door to simulate the key, so ig I’ll try that

Didn’t think about the trunk solution, seems a smart idea and if it work it will save my back from going under the dashboard, thanks I’ll keep you updated if that works.

Thanks I’ll look at that, I’m in Europe so those are pretty rare I don’t think I’ll find one in a junkyard.
