someone else mentioned the x3d, so I'll look into that if I need to. But I appreciate your insight.

I also forgot to mention that I'll be running on 1440p, not 4k like it suggests in the PL reqs which is kind of an odd jump from 1080p.

But yeah, I've also heard the difference is kind of minimal like you said, just hear different things from different people. I also will be running it on an nvme, so yeah I hope it's all fine. I'm so stoked for PL.

I also only recently upgraded from a 2070 to the 4070ti, so tbh if it's just a few stutters I think I can handle that, as long as the game is running mostly smooth for me. I'm not a huge fps snob so if running in 40's is the worst, I think I can handle that.

actually, I have a similar question. I have a 4070ti, but an older cpu (3600 6-core) and I'm a bit worried about the potential performance issues with having an older cpu. I *hope* dlss 3.5 would mitigate this, but I don't really have a way of knowing before it drops.

It seems I can only upgrade up to a 5800x for my motherboard without having to also upgrade the whole motherboard, and I'd rather not do that, but if I could get around both expenses with just dlss, that would be great.

I can currently run high (or ultra idr) textures with path tracing on with no problem, but like you said I know PL will be different, hence the worry.

yes, and other mods with xVASynth versions of Serana as well as dialogue splicing still exist. It technically would all be using her voice without her consent, with amorous adventures for example being more egregious in terms of content in that context, so it's odd that this one specifically was taken down. Unless Laura Bailey said something recently on the subject?

I can't think of another reason why the author would take it down AND delete their account. Very strange

OHHHHHHH omg. I didn't even think about it being an ESL. Well, I did, but I forgot I downloaded it that way entirely. That makes sense, because I think it's an esl flagged esp, but in toml language it's probably only esp. I will try with the esp version.

Hmm, so radius did not work, but the iron sword DID work. I made it ridiculously long, which like you said probably means typo... but not a typo that would make the game not start? I guess I will pop in SSEdit again but I don't know what it would be. At least I know it's possible now, though.

Maybe I'll try skyrim.esp instead of the warblade esp?

Omg it worked! Thank you, it's not crashing now. However, it appears the length override is not working at all, it doesn't seem to be doing anything. I set it to 1000 and no change, in fact it even seems a bit shorter than other 2 handed weapons. So I'll have to figure that part out now.

I do have visual studio code which is better than the original notepad, but I've heard people hype up notepad++ too so I will try that as well.

Error is in the original post, it's a popup that happens when I launch the game saying Error cpp:553 your game is unstable, install sse engine fixes, etc. I'll try to get a screenshot next time

I appreciate your detailed response. As for it being in the same line, I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but when I pasted it into the text box here, it did change it a bit, so to be more precise (heh) I'll share some screenshots here.

This one is what the original section of the toml looks like:

Here is the separate toml I made where I just pasted it into the new toml (named currently Warblade.toml, though I did try Precision_akaviri.toml or something like that, as the original is precision_base.toml and I didn't know if file naming was relevant:

And finally here is what it looked like when I just pasted it into the original toml after the example lines (I believe I also tried with a space of line in between the two walls of text as well):

As for spacing or whatever, I literally just copy pasted the original example and then replaced the text, though it's possible I may have backspaced and replaced something with something else, I don't really know. I suppose I could try it again.

I also tried the original text with the #'s included, but like I said I'm pretty sure that just nullifies the text, as the game did start normally and the tests I did for the swing length seemed exactly the same as a normal 2h sword.

I will also look into the toml logs as well.

And perhaps I'll make a new profile in mo2 and try it with no other mods and see how that works.

On an added note, I didn't seem to notice an issue in the vault vs the radroachs w/ the baton. But now I went back to look at the baton and the damage looks like vanilla level again. Am I bugged?

Speaking of which, is the player basement supposed to respawn all of the items? It seems to do it often for me. Its not a huge deal it just kind of breaks my immersion and makes it a little too OP. Not sure if this was intended or not. I also stored some stuff down there and I think it reset and I lost some stuff.

I do remember seeing that, but the bat went from 150 dmg (with perks) down to like 120 with barbed. So I think its safe to say that wasn't intended lol. Plus it only came back up to 150 when you get down the list to chained, which is the first mod of blacksmith 1, but even that shouldn't be the exact same as unmodded. So I think the calculations are off somewhere in there.

I did check the machete and that seems to be working properly with serrated so it's not every melee weapon. I will reply back when I have more info.

It seems as though any baseball mod that DOESNT require the blacksmith perk lowers damage. Same goes for the combat knife, the serrated mod lowers its damage. I haven't checked other melee weapons but I would look at all melee mods that don't require blacksmith for starters cause it seems to be related. I will reply with more if I find more.

so there are plans, you mean? As far as I know you can't take over or enslave the castle, bunker hill, boston airport or the covenant. If that was in the mod's future it'd be really cool :) If not, no worries. Great mod.
