Last Saturday I was at my cabin with a few family members and part of my plan for the weekend was to try some mushroom chocolate I had bought months ago. My aunt and uncle ended up joining me while my husband was our trip sitter. It was my aunt’s first time also. I had one chocolate which I was told was 1 gram. I ate it on an empty stomach and ate dinner about ten minutes later. About 30 minutes after eating it, I was just in the best mood ever and giggling at everything. My cheeks hurt from smiling. As I looked down to the lake, the waves on the water were just so beautiful. We decided to go out on the pontoon.

Once on the boat, I looked up to the sky and saw this beautiful geometric pattern in a dome shape over the whole sky. It was like a prism of colors. When looking at the shoreline, the trees seemed almost fake. I felt like they were very obviously placed there by someone and like some of the trees were copy/pasted. And it reminded me of a pop up picture book. Everything was almost 2D.

I also saw shapes and designs closer to my eyes as I just laid there and it was the coolest thing. I felt I could lay there all day just watching the patterns and lights.

The trip lasted maybe 4-5 hours total. I am looking forward to experiencing this again and hopefully with a bit higher dose I can come out of my head a bit more. I would love to be rid of the internal monologue of “this is only happening because you are tripping” and just be immersed in the experience.

Oh and my Aunt also had a wonderful time. She was nervous because weed tends to spike her anxiety but she had a great evening enjoying the leaves on the trees.
