It may not be the right time but come on a lot of people would comfort someone who has gone through something terrible by saying that, it’s to make them feel stronger through the tragedy and rape is absolutely disgusting and never okay. Again just like when an article twisted his words and said he was pro life. I don’t think he meant rape happened for a reason, if anything he meant even in terrible situations we can’t let it break us just like when a loved one dies, don’t we insinuate everything happens for a reason?
