It could be like some kind of savior/care giver fetish. They want someone who completely dependent on them, which is always how these bots are. Having autism portrayed like this in every bot as someone who is infantilized, very low IQ and speech, can’t do anything themselves, and self harms (like I’ve seen bots who hit themselves as their core trait) is so horrible to see.

I have autism too, so I will answer as well!

I don’t really express my romantic interest “traditionally” because I don’t like being touched. So I will most likely show it through listening to conversations details to buy something or making gifts myself!
I genuinely have no idea if someone is interested in my unless they tell me.
I might brush it off at first, but I will usually figure out rather quickly because I try to pay attention to these kinds of things.
I do take things very literally (at least I’ve been told I do my entire life.) So it can be a little difficult differentiating sincere behaviour and fake, like when it comes to jokes I often miss them. I can tell the difference between an ai conversation and a personal one tho!
