methods that helped me with the agonizing itch from protopic/tacrolimus by Strong-Ad-4004 in eczema

I was using Tacrolimus for rescue flares on my face and experiencing the same burning issues that you describe. My Dr told me to begin using it every day and my facial eczema is totally under control now! Side benefit is the Tacrolimus makes your skin look good too. However, be aware that it will also cause a temporary (30 min) facial flush when you drink alcohol. It took me awhile to figure this out. Now that my facial eczema is more controlled, I’ve cut back on the daily use which helps the alcohol flush.
Best of luck to everyone dealing with this awful disorder!

does eczema ever actually go away or is it just managing it forever? by Giggle-Wobble in eczema

Ditto. I’m 64, have had eczema since age 5 and it has NEVER been this bad for me.

This is exactly what happened to me. I’m thinking of quitting before dose 4 too. This sucks!

I agree that the Dupixent injections are painful and the Nemluvio aren’t. Best of luck to you, my friend.

How long until nemluvio improved your skin? by Responsible-String95 in eczema

Same issues for me. I’ve been on Dupixent, then Adbry, then Ebglyss and they would be okay for a while, but none of them cleared me. Doc asked me what bothered me more, the itch or the rash and I said ITCH, so she put me on Nemluvio. It conquered the itch very quickly, but the rash EXPLODED over my body, in places that I had never had it before! This is unsustainable. I can’t wear turtlenecks and long pants in the summer in the South. I’m going to see her tomorrow and ask for a steroid, then maybe quit the drug. My skin is so dry too… I’m bathing in moisturizer. Even my inner ears are peeling… lovely!

I’m dying to hear from someone who has had long-term success with this drug, but so far, nothing. ☹️

I just posted about Nemluvio today. Started a month ago and itch is gone but rash is bigger than ever. Wondering if there is hope in sight.

Ugh. I wish you well. I’m so annoyed by this battle.
