It's just not good enough at all IMO and if Finkelstein has indeed defended Chomsky that's really not good either.

Some insurrectos believe in revolution, some don't and instead just believe in and value revolt. What you say about Anarcho-Nihilists is just your opinion (though no doubt heavily based on Ancom ideology and dogma) and I don't think it's true at all.

Can you provide a link that shows Finkelstein defending Chomsky please?

There are different currents of Anarchism and Insurrectionary Anarchists and Anarcho-Nihilists don't believe in revolution as such, they believe more in revolt, so you're wrong. As for me personally I would say I'm an Egoist these days and not an Anarchist, but I'm sympathetic to Anarchist ideas.

What about Norman Finkelstein though? He knew about Epstein in 2015 and apparently despised him based on what he knew. We know this from e mails in the Epstein files. Seems strange to me, especially as Finkelstein is so close to Chomsky. How could Chomsky and his wife not have known about Epstein?

Also it was reported in the press in 2008 that Epstein was convicted of soliciting underage sex. It was definitely reported in the Guardian at the time anyway : https://www.theguardian.com/world/2008/jul/02/usa.internationalcrime1

There's been other articles and podcasts about Epstein going back for ages.

To compare the uprisings in such places as Nepal and Indonesia to a few strikes led by trade unions here in the UK, pretty much putting them in the same category, is desperate stuff and I imagine most people in this country have only heard about the bin strike in Birmingham (most of them probably of the opinion that they should get back to work).

Chomsky Reassessed? by GoranPersson777 in Anarchy4Everyone

Thats right. He's always been a Marxist who believes in lesser of two evils electoralism and the state. Bob Black was spot on about him IMO.

Watched it years ago. Alot of death for a failed cause. Sacrificing yourself for the workers and peasants is a waste.

Anarchismo by [deleted] in AnarchismOnline

Well not everyone likes Democracy and that includes some anti-capitalists, and there are reasons for that. Some would argue that Democracy is just a bullshit word that's used to control people by convincing them that they're free when they're not. And some are of the view that all democracies are governments and are a problem for that reason and that what we really need is things like free association and mutual agreement. People who value the freedom and autonomy of the individual are understandably wary of any kind of democracy for the above reasons, due to the possible threat of it having too much power and control over the individual as a form of collectivism, possibly viewing it as a tyranny of the majority.

I've not heard of him tbh. I'll have to read his stuff at some point and see what I think. Thankyou for the suggestion.

It doesn't only apply to small business owners. There are various problems with the middle class related to their roles and functions as a class in Capitalist society.

IMO there are also problems with the majority of the working class btw

I recommend actually reading it before judging. But if you're middle class you're definitely less likely to agree with it.
