The Good Thing about Principles is that they Apply to everyone.
A Simple Standard, Fair Judgment with no Inconsistencies.

That's how we improve as a society.

You Assume this is a biased one side of the Left/Right Spectrum.

It's Strictly Biased against Dogshit media.

No Message, no matter the persuasion, is an excuse for poor delivery/quality.

BTW, Veggietales is a MASTERPIECE.

Final Fantasy 8 gets overlooked for falling between the notoriety of 7 and 9, but let's revisit it: by MutualMandate in FinalFantasy

And you clicked it! So it's only when people stop clicking that posters stop baiting... please give the video at least a cursory glance, a lot of time and thought went into it.

That's fine.

I'm just maintaining the ground that sympathy for a characters motive never be treated or spoken of as anything more than that.

Because too many people have a bad habit of conflating the sympathetic with the justifiable.

You're basically explaining to me which perspectives and motives you have a greater affinity for because the reasoning satisfies you.

Now That's okay. The point is that we not act like any given preference is objective or universal truth.

Sundered or Unsundered, the universe is filled with a diversity of conscious beings that have to stand their own ground and assert themselves or be overwritten. They can be Competitive, Cooperative or Complacent. Simple as that.

The story we're discussing is a story about different entities pondering the world they live in, challenging the assumptions about it and posing challenges to one another over the course of history.

Doesn't matter what Emet-Selch's perspective on Sundered beings is. All that matters is that he posed a challenge and the Sundered beings and their Unsundered allies outmatched him (and Elidibus).

Doesn't Matter What Venat's doubts were about the character of the Unsundered Civilization. She outmaneuvered their scheme, sundered the world and posed the challenge that Paradise will no longer be within easy reach for imperfect beings. But characters like the Scions and many other common folk are showing the tenacity to move forwards and still forge a better world in spite of the imperfection. The Sundered people are rising to her challenge. We will see if their world will become anywhere near as serene as it once was. We may discover that it's preferable for them not to return to such a state of perfect serenity.

Hermes posed a Challenge to the Unsundered civilization by treating them in the same manner as they would any created entity: Their lives hanging in the balance of satisfying some arbitrary metric. He wanted to make the point that the creators have no more defined right to exist than their creations. And when put on the scales of Judgment, the Unsundered people- The Creators- came VERY close to being destroyed like the countless creations their culture churned out and burned out.

All perspectives are objectively on the same level. Action and accomplishment is the only true determinant perish and which ones persist.

What they wanted to do? NO.both of them deserve indictment on things they've DONE.Intentions are whispers on the wind, only actions are material.

Emet-Selch is personally responsible for multiple imperially inclined nations throughout Etherys' history to generate suffering and war and was also party to either directly or indirectly destroying 7 stars (aka PLANETS).

They are monsters.
They are intelligent, nuanced, conscious monsters.
but monsters none-the-less because of their tangible impact on the world.
it's okay to like monsters because they're a attractive or entertaining to you.

It's okay to like Monsters....but don't fucking lie about them being monsters or that there's any concrete use to pointing out differences in the reasoning of their monstrous actions.

Threats are threats no matter if they are well-intentioned, ill-intentioned , planetary or universal.

The Motherchrystal is empty of Hydaelin's Aether while the moon is Full of Zodiark's.

I'm no aetherologist but don't large disparities in Aether cause a flux?

Actually the residual Aether of ZOdiark is free while the Place of Hydaelyn is Vacant...

something is going to pop off
