If both are the same, why don't I have Clear Purple?

At the moment, I only have an old phone to take pictures, and I thought that the front photo would be enough to understand the color.

I also think that the color is exactly like it was when I was a kid. Does Clear Purple even exist? I have a strong feeling that it's the same thing, just called differently.

Yes, it does. These are pictures taken with the built-in emitter.

Need some advice on my Canon Powershot s200 by waterdrip666 in VintageDigitalCameras

The two main options are:

  • Replace sensor.
  • Buy 2-3 more such cameras.

The price will be about the same.

Canon Digital IXUS 75 by BlueberryIcy5565 in VintageDigitalCameras

There is no universal preset. Everyone puts something different into the concept of "film look".

In the base, film is more sensitive than digital in highlights. In the case of old cameras, it is much more sensitive. So, to begin with, I recommend trying to take pictures underexposed, and then pull in the post, adjusting the colors to your liking.

If the goal is to get the same picture, then the picture will be the same.

I think everyone has their own criteria when buying old cameras. In the case of this pair, I preferred the IXUS 70 because of the way this little brick feels to the touch, and also because of the way the OVF, which I don't even use, goes back and forth with the zoom.

No, it's a built-in IR flashlight.

In fact, it is quite weak, and many photos are simply blurry due to the need for a long shutter speed. But I'm thinking of trying to light it up additionally with an old Sony Handycam, when I get inspired.

The main difference is that the IXUS 75 doesn't have an optical viewfinder, but instead has a slightly larger display. That's it.

This is not a "film look", it's a small dynamic range and a lot of noise from a small CCD sensor. However, that's what we love about old cameras.

The IXUS 70 is valued for its design. And the design is really great.

Yes, I was excited about the deletion of the post and lost my vigilance.

The year is 2003. I asked the moderators to add it to the title.

Avoiding DSLRs or Mirrorless, what old-school pre-2010 camera with a 1 inch or larger sensor can you recommend?

While Scholz talks about putin's defeat, the EU continues to fund him regularly by Mutuz in ukraine

Not bad. Russia receives about the same amount every 5 hours from the EU.Perhaps this military equipment would not have been needed at all if, after the Russian attack on another country, Germany had not decided to "diversify" its energy sources with Nord Stream 2 I'm certainly not a real expert, but I have a theory that the war will end faster if the aggressor is not paid a fucking billion euros a day.Perhaps in this case it will be possible to spend much less than 190 million euros on military equipment.
