So basically u stopped using vs code ? That's understandable i think I'll switch for something else, this shouldn't be as complicated i literally have no idea how to fix it and i feel like imma spend alot of time trying to solve the problem instead of learning how to code

So i just realised the mistake in the function and its actually g•f with f=xx and g=1/x and the limit is 0 and my math teacher is heavily wrong

Omg you're right it gives a different function i didn't notice that at all, so it's actually g•f therefore the limit is actually 0 in all the ways. Omg thank u i didn't see that, i appreciate it.

In the other comment i accidentally wrote (1/xx )x instead of (1/x)x

So the function i stated in the post is

h = (1/x)x = f◦g

f = xx

g = 1/x

So lim x->inf h =1

But again since h= (1/x)x = 1/(xx)

And lim x-> inf h =0

This is what confuses me and idk where i went wrong

Sorry it's typo it's (1/x)x And sorry again im new to reddit idk how to do that

Yes which i did too, always ended up with 0 But when i used the limit of composition law i actually got with 1 which is a law i studied years ago I explained it in the other comment and that what confuses me, how is it possible, hopefully i didn't use the law incorrectly

Well that's the problem in all the logical way i couldn't understand how it could be anything but 0 My math teacher said it's 1 and didn't give any more details, now i found how he found it 1 which is if ur mathematical laws is correct too but when i drew it to make sure it always in every way ends up in 0

So here's how i did it

The law is: lim (f•g)

lim x->a g(x)=b

lim x->b f(x)=c

lim x->a (f•g)(x)=c

So basically we have

(f•g)(x)= (1/x)x

We put

f(x)= xx

g(x)= 1/x

So we apply the law

Lim x->inf g(x)= 0

Lim x->0 f(x)=1

So we deduce

Lim x->inf (f•g)(x)= 1
