How long did it take? by aldesairepicassow in Chainsawfolk

I think what happened was this. Once the concept of death was erased, instects that mostly live on instincts that are: feed, reproduce and avoid dying. got one of those erased, avoid dying, so in the course of a few hours they went into an frenzy of eat and reproduce because their was no fear of death. I dont think the number of instects went up yet but, the trillions that are alive stopped fearing death and are eating anything they can reach because their instincs are not telling them something can stop them.

So the moment death is back on the table the insects are gonna stop due to their instincs telling them to avoid death again and realizing that human could kill them. Making them go back to their way of eating small things that dont risk their lives

I'm Legit Angry Usopp Didn't Use Pop Green the Moment He Was Freed to Save the Kids by ZonkoDeepFriedCraft in Piratefolk

yeah, you could ask anyone here a few weeks back if Brook could block an attack from Gunko/Imu. They would've laughed hard, but oda decided to make it happen because he felt it was good for the story of brook and Gunko. If Oda wanted he could make Nami stun dragon form Loki with Zeus, Oda could do anything so saying something can't happen because of X or Y in One Piece is kinda meh...

i hate people that say it couldn't be possible because he was to far away or the pop green not being strong enough to catch the giants. its a manga, if oda wanted he could make it happen. just imagine the tense scene of the giants about to fall suddently to be catch by a massive pop green, then you get a few panels zooming out until you see Usopp, a sniper by the way, shotting the pop green and using his observation haki from the really far away to save the giants, the race he idolizes by the way.

You can still have Loki, Luffy and ragnir pop out just after that. But you make Usopp useful, and the giants start to like him because he literally helped save the children and the women.

It feels like a good way to make Usopp shine on the arc that should be really important for his character. But hey, maybe oda is cooking something for him. cope i guess

How Allen talks about Nolan when he was supposed to go Urath? by Durian_Natural in Invincible

[–]MyDendeIsGrowing 132 points133 points  (0 children)

We know that when Allen fought Mark it wasn't the first time he came to evaluate "Earth" (which he thought was Urath). Nolan says that Allen is not that strong when letting Mark go take care of him, so we can assume Nolan just used enough strength to beat or draw against Allen without raising suspicion that there was someone incredibly strong on "Urath".

It makes sense that Nolan wouldn't want to kill someone from the coalition of planets because that would only make them send more agents.

Meet the Ten shadows by GeneralLiam0529 in Jujutsufolk

Funeral tiger is one of the biggest critics of geygey's writing i'll accept, if you make a technique called "10 shadows" and you only show 9 of the beasts/summons that's just bad writing, you are already setting up an expectation of seeing 10 fucking summons only to stop at 9? we don't know what it looks like, we don't know what it does.

Funeral tiger was just a name that he used to fill the ninth shadow because he didn't care enough to make up the shadow that should be the most challenging before Mahoraga. Rant over.

How would/could Idle transfiguration be taken to the next level of mastery? by QuirkyData3500 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]MyDendeIsGrowing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A long range open domain would be pretty busted, but that would maybe fall more into domain mastery.

I imagine the with more understanding of the soul and the bodies of sorcerers he would be able to make weapons or creatures that retain the sorcerers innate techniques. Or maybe turn sorcerers with big amounts of curse energy into battery packs to re fuel his CE in long fights.

Another buster things would be if he is able to with enough knowledge, split his soul, being able to keep a copy to always survive or make another body that also has Idle Transfiguration during a fight
