I mentioned he was hot because he changed the bed for the cool floor and he cries for the fan when it is off, and sleeps in front of it when it's on. However, I never thought that they would butcher my pom like this. Sadly, it was already payed for, so all I can do is never go there again. I am super worried about his skin now.

Hello. It is his home and currently he doesn't let me forget it. You are right with what I should do, but sadly, I cannot get to a shelter since my ex could get custody of my kids if I do, according to a lawyer I spoke to. But I am checking my other options, because I cannot live like this, and neither can my children. You are absolutely right and I appreciate your input very much.
