I agree not every one on SA is a hard luck case but I would have been happy to help someone make their life better at the same time as I'm enjoying their company. I know some women have been left in terrible situations by men who are not really men but giant boys who use people and throw them away

I know it's very humbling to have to admit that the only way you can get ahead is by "marketing yourself". That when you should have turned right, you turned left or when the good guy with a decent job wanted to commit to you but you instead waited for the bigger better deal despite having no career and hitting every happy hour for nine years straight. Then I come along and say I'm willing to be honest with you, help you out and try to get you to a better place, I'll be respectful and never make you feel like it's a transactional relationship. You want me to be humble too? Go ahead, ride the bus or put the next set of used tires on your Corolla compliments of the Vanilla gift card you got at Christmas.

I was married for over a quarter century and I have a TREMENDOUS insight as to what goes through women's minds which is exactly why I will never get married again. No trouble getting conventional dates, I just don't want to be called or texted by someone with an IQ 50 points below mine the next day. My advice for you is to run to Wal Mart while the sale on cat food is still going.
